We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused TFX Line Operator to support our specialized chemical plating department. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, maintaining safe operations, and meeting customer requirements in a high-spec environment. The Office Assistant – TFX Plating provides administrative and production support for the TFX Plating department. This role ensures accurate documentation, system entries, and shipping coordination while assisting with production and department needs as required. Responsibilities include data entry in PLEX, document control, packaging preparation, certification preparation, and scheduling support. The position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and reliability in a small-team environment where consistent attendance is critical.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements at all times.
- Perform plating thickness verification using Micro Pioneer X-ray machine and record results in PLEX.
- Enter material receipts, inbound/outbound documentation, and production data into PLEX.
- Perform audits on plated parts to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate logistics for outbound production.
- Build and maintain boxes and packaging supplies to support production flow.
- Enter new job documentation into PLEX and scan related records (quality, production, administrative).
- Run 3D imaging for quoting purposes and assist with new part setup in PLEX.
- Schedule quality calibrations with Tru-Cal, record findings, and maintain calibration records.
- Prepare certifications and required documentation for customers and internal use.
- Support production as needed, including operating washer equipment.
- Conduct water testing, recording results and maintaining records in compliance with EPA requirements.
- Assist with organizing, maintaining, and purging department documentation and sample records.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills, with ability to quickly learn and navigate PLEX and related systems.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
- Basic math and comprehension skills.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods (8–10 hours per day).
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout shift.
- Experience working in and around chemicals or heat is a plus.
- 5 or more years of operations, supervision, or chemical process control experience in a high-volume production atmosphere is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work in different or multiple departments throughout the facility as needed.
- Excellent attendance is crucial due to the small team environment.
