Production Control Planner
Purpose:
As a Production Control Planner you will be responsible for developing and executing the production-planning schedules.
Primary Duties:
•Determine plant production requirements based on sales & operations planning, open customer orders, and annual production goals.
•Attend/facilitate daily and weekly planning/scheduling meetings with the production team.
•Develop finite schedule to optimize plant operations balanced with the needs of the business.
•Monitor order releases, priority customer orders, and work center inventory levels daily to maintain on-time delivery.
•Work with other departments to ensure valid scheduling and compliance and to expedite orders when necessary.
•Supply and demand date reconciliation.
•Incorporate customer requests into production schedules.
•Ensure orders are started on time, and releases are within established WIP Inventory policies.
•Conduct cycle counting and support yearly inventory audits.
•Any other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
•Two-year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business ore related field or two years of experience in a production environment with basic inventory and manufacturing concepts. CPIM Certification desirable.
•Experience in manufacturing environment.
•SAP/IPT experience (OMP/APO/MRP/ERP) or similar planning system experience preferred.
•Solid computer background utilizing Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Skill Requirements:
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize.
•High level of energy and initiative, as well as time management skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
•Ability to work individually or in a team, and build cross-functional relationships
•Willingness to flex hours as needed to support 24/7 manufacturing site needs.
•Embrace process standardization and champion change.
•Data collection, documentation, and report generation.
Schedule:
Current Opening:
•One 12 hour, rotating day shift position from 5 AM - 5 PM
Position pay starting at $25 per hour.
