Production Planner - Manufacturing

PRODUCTION PLANNER

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This person will be responsible for coordinating production workflow for multiple products in our manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for planning and prioritizing operations to conform with customer delivery expectations, provide accurate and timely order status. Must have an adherent ability to coordinate with each department to understand their specific needs and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Release work orders to operations

· Run MRP reports, schedule job starts and provide daily queue list updates to operations

· Manage schedule for changes due to replacement, expedite requests and communicate effectively with the floor parties involved

· Participate in daily production meetings and provide order level status review in support of weekly and monthly targets

· Monitor jobs to ensure they will be completed on time

· Address any issues when they arise while aiming for minimum disruption

· Prepare and submit status and performance reports

· Keep paperwork organized

· Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other personnel

Requirements:

· Highly motivated, self-starter with a penchant for achievement of personal goals and those of the company

· Computer experience (MS Office) as well as an intermediate level of Excel

· Good math and statistics skills

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication abilities

· High school diploma; further education or certification is preferred

Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
