Hunt Utility Services is a privately held company providing management and support services for Sharyland Utilities, L.L.C., a Texas-based electric transmission utility. We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient transmission and substation services, ensuring operational excellence, and investing to support the infrastructure needs of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas grid.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and implementing internal supply chain and procurement processes. As an intermediate-level role, it will assist with process improvement initiatives, market analysis, competitive bid evaluations, and vendor management activities within our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Process. The ideal candidate will be organized, a quick learner, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining accurate data and documentation to ensure efficient operations. This position is hybrid, with in-office work expected 3 days/week.

Responsibilities Procurement Support:

•

Monitor supplier lead times and track order deliveries

•

Assist with Material Receipt Reports (MRR) and Goods Receipt Reports (GRR)

•

Create and manage purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), and change orders in the system

•

Support accurate and timely data entry for procurement and supply chain activities

•

Be able to understand supply chain management and purchasing process flows from requirement to fulfillment

Vendor Onboarding & Monitoring

•

Assist with the completion of vendor onboarding forms and applications

•

Coordinate follow-ups with vendors and ensure timely completion of onboarding processes

Vendor Performance & Engagement

•

Maintain and update the vendor frequency touchpoint

•

Assist in scheduling and coordinating quarterly or ad-hoc vendor performance reviews

•

Track vendor performance metrics and record updates

Data Entry & File Management

•

Assist in tracking contract lifecycles, including routing documents for signatures

•

Maintain contract records and ensure proper filing in the designated repository

•

Organize and manage digital files and documentation in alignment with internal protocols

Sourcing Support

•

Assist in the RF(x) processes by collecting documentation and coordinating internal communications

Required Skills & Experience

•

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

•

1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems is a plus

•

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•

Effective communication and time management abilities

•

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

•

Experience or knowledge of using SAP

•

Knowledge of electric utility equipment, suppliers, and regulations is a plus.
