Coterra is hiring a Procurement Analyst in Houston, Texas
JOB DUTIES
As a Procurement Analyst at Coterra, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vendors adhere to company policies, standards, and contractual obligations. This role plays a key part in minimizing risk, maintaining quality, optimizing vendor performance, supporting contract compliance and negotiations, and verifying insurance requirements. As an administrator you will work cross-functionally with procurement, legal, logistics, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end compliance and facilitate issue resolution. This position is located on site at our headquarters in Houston, Texas
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Coordinate onboarding and training sessions for new vendors regarding compliance expectations.
•Assist in the development and implementation of vendor compliance policies and procedures.
•Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with company standards and contractual terms.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor compliance inquiries and escalations.
•Maintain and update vendor compliance documentation, including contracts, certifications, and audit reports.
•Collaborate with vendors to resolve compliance issues and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
•Track and report vendor non-compliance issues.
•Maintain accurate vendor data in relevant systems (ISNetworld)
•Participate in contract negotiations with vendors to ensure terms align with compliance standards.
•Review, verify, and maintain up-to-date vendor insurance certificates and documentation to ensure compliance with company requirements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•Strong knowledge of oil & gas, insurance requirements, and best practices for supply chain.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Proficient in ISNetworld
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Experience supporting or participating in contract negotiation processes, with an understanding of vendor agreements, terms, insurance obligations, and risk management
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum High School or GED required
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
•Five (5) or more years of experience in vendor management, compliance, procurement, or a related field
