Minimum Requirements:
•Four or more years of experience
•Post-secondary Business or Supply Chain background
•Able to advise business leaders and provide guidance to more junior Supply Chain Management (SCM) staff
•Demonstrates skill in a variety of Supply Chain competencies related to Procurement, Contract Management and Supplier Analysis/Selection as well as Planning, Scheduling and Coordinating
•Displays a combination of professional and technical knowledge related to Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices and processes, training, preparation and practical experience
•This level is regarded as the fully qualified SCM professional at an intermediate specialist level
•Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred
Responsibilities:
•Maintains and manages entire lifecycle of purchase orders and other basic procurement documentation
•Assesses risks, identifies trends and opportunities, and makes recommendations for improving procurement processes, policies and procedures
•Meets the demands of multiple clients including external stakeholders
•Ensures all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan
•Creates individual annual objectives, measures, and performance targets aligned with the overall Procurement Team and the SCM functions' performance targets
•Displays a combination of professional and technical knowledge related to Supply Chain Management practices and processes; a combination of training/ preparation and practical experience
•Explains / demonstrates application of SCM Planning and Scheduling concepts to more junior staff
•Defines priorities and ensures alignment with overall objectives
•Determines course of action as per procedural guidelines and contracts
•Interacts with members of the Organization that are at a senior level and makes recommendations for operational improvements
Location and other Key Details:
•This position will be based at the Fort McMurray Base Plant
•Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
•Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
