Cenovus Energy is seeking a Process Shift Supervisor (PSS) for our Superior Refinery! This position is an authority within Operations at the refinery and will be required to work optimally with colleagues and demonstrate strong technical knowledge. The PSS works a rotating shift schedule (days & nights). They are responsible and accountable for the team's performance and safe and compliant operation of the area.

- Serve as an on shift leader of Operations at the Superior Refinery
- Manage team and individual performance, including the management of personnel matters, with knowledge of policies, procedures, and the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Topics include but are not limited to: filling overtime, vacations, time trades, performance management, operations excellence, coaching and policy & procedure adherence
- Works with and serves as a liaison between all areas of the plant to meet operational and strategic objectives in the near and long term, driving results and elevating issues as appropriate
- Ensure Superior Refinery policies, procedures, plans and direction are implemented and completed in an efficient, safe and effective manner
- Responsible for health, safety, operational and environmental performance, processes and awareness in area of responsibility
- Lead and/or participate in emergency response activities/drills, safety meetings, pre-job huddles, JSAs, PHAs, after action reviews, investigations, and other required activities
- Ensure required training and sign offs are met within Operations and assist with Operations training policy and procedures
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 8+ years of experience/knowledge of reforming, fluidized catalytic cracking, hydro-treating, alkylation, and distillation or equivalent experience in a related field- Excellent organizational and planning skills to set and exceed established goals, schedules and deadlines
