About This Job

Key Responsibilities:

•

Operate and monitor process equipment such as:

•

OTSGs (Once Through Steam Generators)

•

Water treatment systems (e.g., warm lime softening, de-oiling, filtration)

•

Bitumen emulsion separation systems

•

Produced water recycling and tank farm operations

•

Conduct routine surveillance of critical systems

•

Monitor and adjust operating parameters via DCS (DeltaV) system to ensure stable and efficient production

•

Execute safe startup and shutdown procedures in accordance with SOPs

•

Identify and troubleshoot operational upsets; communicate effectively with Maintenance and Technical teams

•

Participate in daily toolbox talks and contribute to a proactive safety culture

•

Perform isolations and lockout/tagout (LOTO) during maintenance activities

•

Thorough understanding and competency with steam plant

•

Maintain accurate logs, shift handover documentation, and ensure compliance with AER and OH&S regulations

•

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.

•

Shift 14 & 14, Fly-in and Fly-out (FIFO), 12-hour shifts

•

Work with strong adherence to PTW, LOTO, during the shutdown

•

Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
