HOCS Projects is an industry leader in delivering innovative engineering solutions for the oil & gas and industrial sectors. We are seeking a Process Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership, project management, and mentorship across a range of projects from concept to commissioning.
- Lead assigned projects as the process engineering lead, providing expertise from concept through construction and commissioning.
- Develop and manage budgets and schedules for process engineering work.
- Allocate engineering resources to ensure deliverables are completed within approved hours and timelines.
- Manage a large volume of deliverables while ensuring quality meets corporate and project standards.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Perform squad checks of drawings and documents.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
- Visit project sites as required to provide technical support and oversight.
- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Current registration with APEGA (or eligibility for registration in Alberta).
- Minimum 15 years of related experience; operational facility experience is an asset.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Legally permitted to work in Canada.
