Description:
Mesa Natural Gas Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Process Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the optimization of our manufacturing processes, playing a vital part in enhancing safety protocols, elevating product quality standards, and driving overall operational efficiency within our state-of-the-art production facilities.
As a Process Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging your expertise in process engineering to devise and implement cutting-edge methodologies aimed at streamlining assembly procedures and maximizing productivity across our diverse range of product lines. Your primary focus will be on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, where every aspect of our manufacturing operations is meticulously analyzed, refined, and optimized to meet the highest industry standards while adhering to stringent quality control measures.
Essential
Duties:
•Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes with a focus on quality control, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
•Collaborate with Design Engineers and vendors to redesign parts for more efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met.
•Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to facilitate a plug-and-play electrical system, simplifying assemblies' installation process and streamlining wire management for enhanced functionality and ease of maintenance.
•Analyze existing work steps and procedures to eliminate inefficiencies and obstacles, developing clear and concise work instructions to enhance ease of follow-through and facilitate a streamlined quality control process.
•Create strategic work steps to optimize assembly flow and enhance productivity across multiple product lines.
•Establish improved parts transfer locations, packaging solutions, and overall parts flow throughout the manufacturing facility to minimize downtime and optimize production output.
•Work closely with procurement and assembly teams to select the correct hardware and ensure availability at required locations, maintaining adequate inventory levels and establishing efficient replenishment processes.
•Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Preferred:
•Master’s degree is preferred.
Required:
Experience:
•Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the power generation industry.
•Proficiency in CAD for part design and layout optimization, preferably solidworks/AutoCAD.
Preferred:
•Honorably discharged service veterans preferred.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
•Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.

•Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
