At Gold Creek Engineering, we are a rapidly growing engineering consulting firm specializing in upstream oil and gas, with a broader focus on the energy industry as a whole. Our mission is to deliver smart, and efficient engineering solutions that help our clients across the Americas and eventually globally.
We’re looking for a Process Engineer with 0–4 years of experience who’s eager to grow, learn, and take on meaningful challenges. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers across process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, supported by a strong piping, electrical, and structural design team.
The ideal candidate will support our clients' upstream operations, with a focus on well pad facility design, safety, and optimization. The candidate should have the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute projects efficiently and safely.
If you’re passionate about engineering and excited to shape the future of energy, we’d love to have you on our team.

- Perform equipment sizing calculations and specify major equipment and instrumentation for new and existing facilities.
- Assist with process simulations and analyses to support design decisions and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Develop process deliverables like design basis, process simulations, PFDs/P&IDs, stream summaries, line lists.
- Collaborate with project teams including clients, contractors, project managers, and a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and standards to complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Symmetry suite) and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to process design and safety.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Be willing to travel for occasional as-built efforts and site walkdowns.
