Principal Advisor: Operational Safety, Rio Tinto Services Inc. (South Jordan, Utah):
Implement and develop organizational safety programs, safety standards and procedures. Conduct and support assurance activities across Rio Tinto to Rio Tinto Operational Safety Standards. Lead and facilitate Incident Investigations. Develop and implement specialized training related to safety. Facilitation or delivery of training for Safety related initiatives. On-site deployment of gap-analysis assessments, and delivery of action plans. Support safety cultural assessments and diagnostics. Risk assessment and risk register development and review. Prepare data analysis and insights for assets, product groups and senior leaders.
Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
Bachelor’s degree in safety, Human Factors, Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of related work experience. Employer will accept an additional 2 years of related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Must have 10 years of experience in Business Conformance Auditing.
Must have 5 years of experience in the following:
International travel required up to 20%; Domestic travel required up to 80%.
Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
