Key Responsibilities:
•Set up stamping press machines according to job specifications, including die changes and adjustments.
•Operate stamping presses to produce metal components per production requirements.
•Inspect parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality standards are met.
•Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
•Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.
•Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
•Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
•Document production data and quality checks accurately.
•Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
•Previous experience operating and setting up stamping presses preferred.
•Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery.
•Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measurement tools for quality inspections.
•Basic knowledge of safety regulations and machine maintenance.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
