Key Responsibilities:
•
Set up stamping press machines according to job specifications, including die changes and adjustments.
•
Operate stamping presses to produce metal components per production requirements.
•
Inspect parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality standards are met.
•
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
•
Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
•
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
•
Document production data and quality checks accurately.
•
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
•
Previous experience operating and setting up stamping presses preferred.
•
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery.
•
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measurement tools for quality inspections.
•
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and machine maintenance.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
