Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints to machine production parts

- Set up, program, and operate manual and CNC machine tools

- Position and secure workpieces and tools

- Use precision measuring devices to ensure quality and accuracy

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Follow all safety and quality protocols

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred)

- 2+ years of brake press experience

- Basic shop math skills

- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and routings

- Strong communication skills

- Preferred experience with:

- European tooling

- AMADA and Rainer Turret equipment

- Programming and working with various materials

- Ability to perform metric conversions

Physical Requirements

- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs; frequently lift up to 25 lbs

- Regularly stand, sit, talk, and listen

- Frequently use hands to handle or touch

- Occasionally walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or reach overhead

- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Work Environment

- Factory setting with exposure to wet/humid conditions, chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles

- Frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts

- Loud noise level

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
