Overview: We are seeking a skilled Precision Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, particularly in precision sheet metal work. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment to fabricate high-quality metal components.
Responsibilities:
•Interpret Technical Drawings: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
•Precision Fabrication: Utilize various metalworking techniques to fabricate precision sheet metal components according to specifications.
•Cutting and Shaping: Use saws, lasers, and other cutting tools to cut and shape metal sheets to the required dimensions.
•Forming and Bending: Operate press brake and other forming equipment to bend and shape metal sheets accurately.
•Joining and Welding: Perform welding, soldering, and brazing operations to join metal components as needed.
•Finishing and Surface Treatment: Finish metal surfaces using grinding, sanding, and polishing techniques to achieve desired smoothness and appearance.
•Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
•Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good working condition.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
•Experience: Proven experience in precision sheet metal work or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Particular skill working with thin gauge aluminum and stainless steel is a plus.
•Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings. Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and equipment. Ability to use precision measuring tools. Experience with welding and other joining techniques.
•Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
•Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
•Certifications: Relevant certifications in metalworking, welding, or related fields are preferred.
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus.
•Selected individual must be quick-learner, flexible, able to multi-task and willing to take on new responsibilities as required.

Ideal candidate should reside within 30-minute commute of Frankford, DE. 40 hours per week, approximate. We are a non-union, non-smoking facility with Monday-Friday operating hours.
