Key Responsibilities:
•Translate business requirements into intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards
•Design and develop interactive data visualizations that drive business decisions
•Optimize and enhance existing dashboards for performance and usability
•Build data models and write SQL queries to support reporting needs
•Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities
•Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with business goals
•Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all visualizations
•Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI updates and best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
•2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI
•Strong expertise in DAX, data modeling, and Power BI report development
•Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
•Experience designing visually effective dashboards and reports
•Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
•Ability to integrate multiple data sources into Power BI
•Excellent communication skills, including presenting insights to non-technical users
Preferred Skills:
•Knowledge of data visualization and UX best practices
•Familiarity with advanced Power BI features (bookmarks, tooltips, custom visuals)
•Experience with Azure Data Services or other cloud data platforms
•Basic understanding of statistics or machine learning concepts
•Documentation skills for data models and dashboards
Preferred Experience:
•Background working in government or large enterprise environments
•Experience collaborating with IT and business teams
Education:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
•Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus
