Plant Operator

ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP® is hiring Plant Operators to join our Operations Services team located at our Fort Bragg Facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This position is onsite.

The Plant Operator is responsible for plant operations and overseeing boiler, chiller, and auxiliary equipment operation under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure reliable, efficient and cost-effective long-term operation.

The essential functions of the position include:

+ Issues work permits in compliance with safe work practices and ensures contractor safety + Perform random security inspections and various security checks around the plants + Perform Lockout/Tagout of all facility equipment + Work in confined spaces and perform confined space entry + Wear a Fall Protection when conditions require + Operate a man lift or scissor lift and forklift safely + Use appropriate PPE at all times + Above all work safely and comply with all OSHA regulations + Maintain a clean and orderly work area (requiring cleaning of non-office areas and maintaining the cleanliness of the Control Rooms and plants)
