- Safety. Ensure safety is focused on, employee-driven programs are in place and the safety culture delivers vigilant results.
- The Plant Manager is responsible for overall plant operations, including all production and manufacturing ensuring all employees strive to meet the standards set forth by the company for Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Efficiency & Productivity, Preventative Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
- Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
- Control facility costs to achieve company budget goals.
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
- Plan, organize, drive facility results through KPI, Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Analyze, evaluate and propose advanced manufacturing techniques and technologies including Capital Expenditures that would advance FSBP’s operational and cost performance.
- Scheduling Optimization. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve production, equipment performance and quality of product.
- Support management team with direction and leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or other appropriate area of study
- 5 to 7 years’ experience as a Plant Manager in Building Products or Similar field.
- Proven/Progressive history in high paced manufacturing environments. Operating in an environment of continuous improvement team building and employee engagement while driving results.
- Credentials with manufacturing methods & process improvement procedures.
- Be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals of the facility.
- High level of motivation to succeed both as an individual as well as a Team.
