This position is on0site at our Dallas, TX facility.
Position Summary: Provides for the overall direction and coordination of activities in safety, production, materials, engineering, scheduling, process improvement, capital investment, distribution, maintenance, regulatory, and training activities in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures of the company. This position is responsible for all operations at the Dallas, TX Air Vent facility.
- Direct responsibility for developing and executing the annual business plan for the facility. Key financial responsibilities are sales execution, cost attainment, net margin, and working capital.
- Lead team in achieving KPI targets for the operation: TRIR, Inventory, Fulfillment, Freight Efficiency, Labor Productivity.
- Plan, implement, and supervise the 80/20 philosophy by working in all areas of the process including PLS, CLS, Zero UP, In-Lining and MRD.
- Lead through production cadence and continuous improvement methodologies. Responsible for establishing and leading daily walks (Gemba), plant production meetings, financial reviews, continuous improvement reviews (A3), and capital/strategic planning for the facility.
- Engages and leads SIOP process, providing insight to the Supply Chain team and ensuring that the operation has the proper number of raw materials and buy-out products to fulfill customer demand.
- Plan, implement, and manage programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries and maintain compliance with governing bodies in safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and lead maintenance and reliability strategy for the operation.
- Drive CMMS and TPM principles.
- Execute division freight strategy. Optimize LTL, 3rd party, and internal freight, ensuring on-time delivery at the lowest cost.
- Acts as a change agent, identifies, and promotes continuous improvement opportunities utilizing data analysis, LSS methodologies, A3s, VSMs, 5S concepts, empowers employees, drives engagement, ownership of processes and tasks & collaboration among team members.
- First line responsibility for ensuring that the facility is operated and maintained in compliance with federal, state, and local authorities.
- Establish and develop strong, positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Develop and work plans to continually improve engagement, culture and retention.
- Knowledge and experience with regulatory agencies like, OSHA, EPA, DOT, ANSI and local agencies.

- Major: Engineering or Business (Operations or Supply Chain)
- Years of Experience in Manufacturing: 5+ Years - Years of Experience in Warehousing & Distribution: 2+ Years- Lean / Six Sigma Certification
- Experience with SAP ERP systems
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of operational staff.
- Follow timekeeping requirements for operational staff.

Travel Requirements: Less than 10% and as needed.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or standing and walking on the manufacturing floor.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to manufacturing equipment and machinery, forklifts, and pallets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
