The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, leading production staff to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals while ensuring compliance and driving training and performance.
- Achieve plant KPI targets across production, quality, safety, financial performance, human resources, and environmental metrics
- Provide leadership, coaching, and succession planning for the plant management team
- Maintain and continuously improve employee safety performance and ensure full environmental compliance
- Ensure all products meet quality standards, delivery specifications, and customer expectations
- Direct and maintain financial oversight for facility and equipment maintenance
- Lead and sustain continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and related methodologies
- Proactively manage all facility equipment CapEx projects to enhance manufacturing reliability and robustness
- Implement, share, and support best practices
- Other duties as assigned

- The processing areas can be dirty and wet at times
- Processing facilities/areas are dusty
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field required; or demonstrated experience in lieu of degree
- 7-10+ years’ experience directing and managing a manufacturing facility required- Metal sorting experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong understanding of business operations and P&L management
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Valid driver’s license is required for business travel
- Ability to work weekends or non-day shifts as needed for equipment installation or repairs
- Demonstrated ability to earn trust and respect to lead and unify diverse team
- Must support and direct work on extended work schedules in support of customers and/or other business activities
- Ability to interface with all levels of leadership and hourly personnel, customers, and suppliers
