Responsible for assisting with or performing engineering duties which may include the following: management of projects, engineering feasibility studies, economic analysis of simple projects, basic engineering plans, cost estimates and specifications, evaluation and selection of equipment and materials, optimization of processes. Responsible for developing solutions to problems of limited scope and performing routine tasks related to plant engineering operations. Oversee the activities of maintenance personnel through indirect supervision of the Maintenance Mechanics. On-call 24/7 for emergencies. Responsible for the development and management of all Capital Projects for Cicero, including the development and management of all Expense Projects. Participate and assist in the development of capital and expense budgets. Assist Oklahoma City and Atlanta Plants with their Capital and Expense Projects. Provide Weekly Updates to key stakeholders for projects. Research and specify new equipment for use in Cicero. Manage the Tank Inspection Program (includes tank file updates, strapping table updates, etc.). Conduct Monthly Tank Farm Checks. Conduct Monthly Cathodic Protection Checks. Assist with Boiler Maintenance Program as required. Provide Monthly Natural Gas Consumption to Corporate for purchasing. Maintenance of Monthly Fuel Logs and Annual Report to HSSE Manager. Provide support for supervision of Cicero Maintenance personnel and full supervision when the Maintenance Manager is not present. Conduct contractor safety orientation/meetings. Assist with Management of contractors including usage of ISNetworld database. Distribute Daily Contractor Work Permits. Compile and communicate Monthly Contractor Hours. Perform Daily Safety Checks on Contactors. Participate on Emergency Response Team. Be familiar with Confined Space Entry procedures/requirements. MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years of progressively responsible experience with each of the following:
