Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Resource Planner to lead and support resource planning activities for the Asset Performance Management department, focusing on transmission infrastructure. The role involves coordinating workforce and asset planning for preventative and corrective maintenance of both new and existing infrastructure. The planner will play a critical role in ensuring engineering teams are equipped to meet scheduling demands and resource needs across multiple active projects, while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and manage work plans, resource allocation, and scheduling activities to optimize utilization and meet project deadlines.
•Create and maintain project schedules including milestones, critical paths, and budget compliance metrics.
•Collaborate with operational leadership to develop and update maintenance plans for building and transmission assets.
•Utilize enterprise systems such as Maximo to track equipment performance, spare parts, and compliance with asset management standards (ISO 55000).
•Track and manage the disposal of decommissioned or end-of-life equipment and assets.
•Support safety and environmental compliance efforts by ensuring required documentation (permits, HASPs, JSAs) is in place and tracked.
•Conduct regular facility inspections focusing on safety; generate detailed reports, recommend corrective actions, and ensure resolution follow-ups.
•Assist in space planning, including layout design concepts and updates to occupancy charts.
•Coordinate project closeout activities, including collection of as-built drawings, training materials, and O&M documentation.
•Work with internal drafting and design teams to ensure documentation aligns with configuration management policies.
•Provide general support to facilities management team as needed across various operational and project tasks.
Required Skills & Competencies
•Proficiency in Maximo, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Visio.
•Experience with work management systems and project scheduling.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
•Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and general construction practices.
•Competence in reading and annotating architectural and technical drawings.
Qualifications
•Associate’s Degree (AAS) in Engineering or related field.
•3–5 years of experience in construction management, facilities planning, or engineering coordination with architects and contractors.
•Space planning and safety compliance experience preferred.
•OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to complete upon hire).

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
