Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of production activities to ensure efficient operations and optimal resource utilization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to forecast demand, streamline processes, and enhance supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
•Utilize SAP and MRP systems to manage materials and resources effectively.
•Analyze data to vaticinate future demand trends and adjust schedules accordingly.
•Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials required for production.
•Implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
•Monitor production performance metrics and adjust plans as necessary to meet operational goals.
•Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure alignment between production schedules and capacity.
•Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding schedule changes, delays, or issues impacting production.
Requirements
•Proven experience in demand planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
•Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
•Strong understanding of MRP processes and supply chain management principles.
•Familiarity with Lean manufacturing methodologies is a plus.
•Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
