As a Performance Engineer in Greenskies Asset Management team, you will report to the Director of Asset Management to help ensure optimal performance and reliability of solar energy systems. This role blends data analysis, engineering expertise, and field diagnostics to maximize energy output and system efficiency.

- Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze data using performance monitoring tools to assess and quantify project performance, including periodic inspections of the facilities.
- System Optimization:
Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to improve energy yield and system availability.
- Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting system performance, grid stability and control systems.
- Reporting:
Generate detailed reports on energy production, system availability, and performance metrics.
- Collaboration:
Work with design engineers, project managers, and construction teams to support commissioning and ongoing operations and drive improvements in design and construction quality; work with the O&M team to understand and resolve persistent operational issues and to develop strategies for improved performance
- Education:
bachelor’s degree in engineering – preferably Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - or a related field.
- Experience:
2–4 years in solar performance engineering or related roles; experience with both C&I and small utility-scale projects a strong plus.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in performance modeling tools (e.g., PVSyst), SCADA systems, and data analytics platforms; experience with trackers and BESS also a plus
- Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team is also important.
