PCM Work Program Manager (Transmission Capital Programs)

Annual salary: $ 107,000.00 - 135,300.00
What you'll do
The Transmission Lines Work Program Manager (P3) is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery
of assigned provincial and regional maintenance programs for transmission lines. This role ensures projects are executed
safely, efficiently, and within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
•Collaborating with Sustainment Planning to prioritize and schedule work and participating in annual planning meetings.
•Leading program execution in coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Environment, Indigenous Relations, Safety,
and Field Operations teams.
•Managing external relationships with municipalities, utilities, landowners, and bulk customers for permitting and
coordination.
•Monitoring program progress, managing risks, and reporting monthly on performance and issues.
•Leading process improvement initiatives and exploring innovative technologies to enhance program delivery.
•Overseeing procurement approvals and financial commitments related to assigned programs.
•Supporting emergency response efforts as required.
This role is primarily office-based with periodic fieldwork. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are
essential for success.
What you bring
•Degree or diploma in Engineering, Forestry, Science, Math, Accounting, Technology, or Contract Management—or
equivalent field experience in project/work execution.
•3–5 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in a utility, construction, or engineering setting.
•Intermediate technical knowledge in at least one field, with general understanding of others (e.g., engineering, business,
finance, science).
•Strong understanding of program/project management principles, delivery models, and contracting strategies.
•PMP certification (or equivalent) is an asset.
•Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and external contractors in dynamic environments.
•Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
•Proficient in SAP and Excel for tracking and reporting on program performance.
•Strong analytical and process improvement skills.

•Note: the preferred job location is Kamloops, however the location could also be Prince George or Fort St. John.
•The role is considered hybrid – 2 days/week in office where field time would count towards office days
