Parts Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic, independent, and motivated Parts Specialist. The qualified candidate will work in our Reno location, supporting all three branches. A clean DMV record and a valid Driver’s License are required. This individual must work independently and have experience with parts and inventory.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Support the Martinez, Sacramento, and Reno branches in relation to parts.

- Research parts, including pricing and availability.

- Order parts and follow up on the status of delivery for scheduling purposes.

- Receive and package parts for over-the-counter sales.

- Receive parts for scheduled jobs and pick up as needed.

- Deliver parts to technicians as needed.

- Process purchase orders.

- Invoicing for over-the-counter sales.

- Cover incoming calls.

- Process parts requests promptly.

- Research and return parts and cores as necessary.

- Maintain parts area in a neat and orderly fashion (shipping area, parts return area, filter area).

- Order and monitor stock items weekly, including filters, rental items, and other relevant supplies.

- Complete & submit paperwork necessary for rebates and discounts from vendors when available (i.e., Ford, Imperial).

Required skills:

- Mechanical knowledge.

- Excellent verbal and written skills.

- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

- Reliable and committed to teamwork.

- Excellent organizational skills

- Courteous and calm in challenging situations.
