Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.

Duties

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.

•

Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

•

Carry out commercial and industrial cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.

•

Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring hygiene standards are met.

•

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in custodial services or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.

•

Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.

•

Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

•

Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
