Role and Responsibilities:
•Work safely, responsibly following all safety policies and procedures
•Perform daily equipment checks and minor service maintenance
•Use a front-end loader to feed raw materials into the feed system hopper
•Prepare solid additives as appropriate in the dispensing racks and resupply as necessary
•Proportions, mixes and re-supplies dye as necessary
•Sets and adjusts as necessary the solid & liquid additive systems to achieve the required final product quality
•Sets and adjusts mixing equipment speeds to achieve the correct product consistency
•Ensure that product meets specifications
•Installs and re-supplies as necessary rolls of bagging film, rolls of stretch wrap, top sheet, pallets, bottom sheet, labels, and other consumables as needed
•Operates and adjusts the bagging & palletizing line according to established training and procedures
•Ensures product is bagged, sealed and palletized according to specifications
•Completes production paperwork accurately, reporting during and at the end of shift
•Keeps accurate records of production data
•Communicates all concerns affecting safety, quality, productivity and the workplace
•Accurately track and manage inventory
•Ability to properly load pallets onto trucks
•Properly perform pre-op functions
•Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributors, ensuring all items are accounted for
•Stage yard with pallets efficiently and accurately to ensure product is accounted for and yard is properly utilized
•Ensures work area is clean and organized
•Other work as required and assigned
Qualifications And Education Requirements
•Must have Heavy equipment loader experience, skid steer, Tele handler
•Must have 2 years of forklift and front-end loader experience
•Must have demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills
•Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills
•Must be able to quickly adapt to change
•High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and coworkers; promote a safe workplace
•Must be able to speak, comprehend, and read English
•Must be able to work well in a team environment
•Must have shipping and warehouse experience
•Must have production and/or assembly line experience
Physical Requirements
•Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hard hat
•Must be able to work safely in varying temperatures in production/warehouse workplace and outside year round
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
•Must be able to successfully pass drug and background screening
•Must be able to work 50+ hours per week
