The right candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties:
- Make sales proposals and present to customers in person as needed.
- Create a sales plan and target customers accordingly.
- Schedule and regularly visit customers to maintain relationships.
- Create and pursue customer leads/make cold calls to prospective customers.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
- Direct and liaise between inside sales and customer on the creation of quotes.
- Solicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide it to the Sales Manager for appropriate follow-up action.
- Provide weekly reports to management regarding territory.
- Gather and submit to Sales Manager competitive market and pricing information.
- Connecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary.
- Follow up with customers and provide solutions should a service concern arise.
- Maintain assigned sales quotas and forecast as needed.
- Environment: Office environment.
- Mobility: Sitting for prolonged periods of time; extensive use of computer keyboard and the telephone.
