We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Outside Sales Representative with medium to high-level industrial electrical experience. This role involves building relationships with clients, collaborating with electrical engineers, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and driving sales growth in the designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a passion for technology sales, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the territory.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to meet client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Utilize CRM for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.- 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical sales or technical support
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, breakers, panels, and controls
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and procurement teams
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Electrical engineering education or certification is an asset
- Strong communication skills in English.
