Sales Manager - Outdoor Living Solutions

Location: McKinney, Tx Employment Type: Full-time / Contract 1099 Compensation: 75,000−250,000/year Bonus Potential: $20,000+ annual performance bonuses

About the Role

We seek an experienced Sales Manager with deep expertise in outdoor living structures to lead our sales team. You'll drive revenue growth for our premium patio covers, enclosures, pergolas, sunrooms, custom builds, and carport solutions - including projects requiring concrete work and specialized installations.

Core Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Project Expertise

•

Develop customized solutions for clients outdoor living needs (patio conversions, all-weather enclosures, pergola designs, etc.)

•

MUST BE SUPER EXPERIENCED IN AUTO CAD PROGRAMS FOR OUTDOOR LIVING!

•

Oversee complex sales involving structural modifications, concrete work, and custom builds

•

Train sales team on technical specifications, material options (aluminum, wood, vinyl), and permitting requirements

•

Must pull all permits and make sure all permits are passed with all city requirements

•

Must manage job site installations with our crews or experienced crews you already are used to working with.

Technical Sales Management

•

Conduct site evaluations to assess structural requirements and installation feasibility

•

Create accurate proposals accounting for:

•

Municipal building codes

•

Wind load requirements (DFW metroplex standards)

•

Foundation/concrete work needs

•

Custom fabrication parameters

Client Relationship Development

•

Consult with homeowners, architects, and contractors on multi-phase outdoor projects

•

Manage high-value ($50k-250K +) projects from initial design through post-installation follow-up

•

Resolve complex installation challenges (sloping terrain, drainage issues, HOA restrictions)

Required Qualifications

•

5+ years in exterior construction sales (patio products/outdoor living required)

•

Proven track record selling custom outdoor structures (Will require references)

•

Technical knowledge of:

•

Aluminum extrusion systems

•

Tempered glass enclosures

•

Permitting processes in North Texas municipalities

•

Concrete foundation requirements

•

Valid driver's license (job requires site visits)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year - $250,000.00
