The OQ Evaluator will be responsible for the administration of Nexus’ Operator Qualification (OQ) and supporting platforms (NCCER, Veriforce, EWN, OQSG, etc.) to ensure the company and all employees are in compliance with the latest federal regulations, client standards/policies, and guidelines set forth by PHMSA and other relevant authorities pertaining to pipeline safety and operator qualifications.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive OQ programs in accordance with DOT/PHMSA regulations (e.g., CFR 49 Part 192/195).
Perform OQ test proctoring and Performance Evaluations
- Maintain qualification records database and ensure all employees are up‐to‐date and compliant within our platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for third‐party OQ platforms and systems.
- Maintaining all compliance platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, DISA, Avetta, etc.).
- Maintaining records and documentation to demonstrate compliance during audits or inspections.
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
- Assist with regulatory agency inspections and coordinate responses to findings.
- Conduct classroom and field training sessions; support field teams in understanding the best safety practices in corrosion mitigation and hazard prevention.
- Provide OQ & Safety program support and regulatory guidance to project managers, foremen, and technicians.
