Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning daily and weekly workloads to achieve departmental and facility objectives through the corporate values of integrity, diversity and delivering expected results. This role is charged with the goal to effectively and efficiently manage the development and directions of the operational team to drive the growth of revenue, technical productivity and promote high quality customer satisfaction.


Job Duties:

Ensure daily and weekly productivity and department targets are met or exceeded.
Ensures adherence to established methods to measure and maintain customer service excellence standards.
Ensure daily and weekly productivity and department targets are met or exceeded.
Deliver prompt and efficient resolution and recovery of customer inquires and complaints to improve overall customer satisfaction.
Maintain and monitor all appropriate reports according to standards.
Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve corporate performance.
Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.
Meet regularly with department heads/business unit leaders; facilitate resolution of issues/problems between business units and/or departments.
Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet requirements of the department.
Assists with recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management, as needed
Manage the morale in the department by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers.
Enhance and develop policies, procedures and service systems to meet the goals of the department.
Budget preparation and monitoring of the department P&L.
Monitor financial performance to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.
Analyzes and report on the daily, monthly and annually department's key performance indicators and industry trends.
Develop and implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the department.
Handle Customer enquiries and complaints which are escalated from the departments.
Analyze the Customer's concern and present options to solve their issue.
Update work orders with appropriate information to provide information more quickly and easily to Customers.
Measure and monitor key customer service areas.
Review and use the monthly Profit and Loss statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals.
Examines reports (e.g., inventory, sales and daily reports) to determine the operational activities of the company and ensure optimum performance.
Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
Able and willing to Deliver and unload fuel to our client base in a timely fashion, as needed
Performs other duties as required


What we require of you:

Rotating on call weekend monitoring
Experience providing superb customer service preferably in the transportation/distribution/courier industry
Minimum 3-5 years’ management/supervisory experience
Repair Fleet Maintenance experience is an asset
Vendor Management experience
Experience with fleet operations and customer delivery.
Valid and clean DZ license, required
Responsible for training and performance management of employees.
Coaches and develops others as required
Willing to work extended and flexible hours; flexibility to work afternoons/evenings/weekends
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Must have a safety and compliance mind set

Description des tâches:

S'assurer que les objectifs quotidiens et hebdomadaires de productivité et de service sont atteints ou dépassés.
Veille au respect des méthodes établies pour mesurer et maintenir les normes d’excellence du service à la clientèle.
Fournir une résolution et une récupération rapides et efficaces des demandes de renseignements et des plaintes des clients pour améliorer la satisfaction globale de la clientèle.
Maintenir et surveiller tous les rapports appropriés conformément aux standards de la compagnie
Développer et mettre en œuvre de nouvelles stratégies pour créer ou améliorer des processus et des procédures afin d'améliorer la performance de l'entreprise
Surveiller le rendement du service par rapport aux objectifs pour s'assurer que des progrès sont réalisés et que des mesures correctives sont prises si nécessaire.
Responsable de la gestion de la performance des employés.
Améliorer et élaborer des politiques, procédures et systèmes de service pour atteindre les objectifs du service à la clientèle.
Analyser et prendre en compte des indicateurs de performance clés et les tendances du secteur quotidiens, mensuels et annuels des opérations.
Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies pour améliorer la performance financière du département des opérations
Traiter les demandes des clients et les plaintes qui sont acheminées aux départements des opérations
Analyser les préoccupations du client et les options actuelles pour résoudre leurs problèmes.
Mesurer et surveiller les principaux domaines de service à la clientèle
Examine les rapports (par exemple, inventaire, ventes et rapports quotidiens) afin de déterminer les activités opérationnelles de la compagnie et d’assurer des performances optimales.
S'assurer que tous les employés adhèrent aux politiques et procédures de l'entreprise
S'acquitte d'autres tâches selon les besoins


Exigences:

Diplôme d'études secondaires, G.E.D. ou équivalent
Compétences en mécanique et/ou en camionnage
Permis de conduire de Classe 3 (un atout)
Compétences en leadership efficaces, avec une forte concentration sur les opérations et les processus métier.
Capable d'identifier les problèmes clés; surmonter de manière créative et stratégique les défis ou obstacles internes.
Une compréhension claire et solide des politiques, pratiques et procédures relatives au personnel et des autres problèmes opérationnels rencontrés par l'entreprise.
Attention portée aux détails et grande précision.
Niveau élevé d'intégrité, de confidentialité et de responsabilité.
Pleine pensée analytique, planification, hiérarchisation et compétences d'exécution.
Un sens diplomatique bien défini, y compris de solides compétences en matière de négociation, de résolution de conflits et de gestion des personnes.


Conditions de travail:

Capacité d’assister et d’organiser des réunions.
Dextérité manuelle requise pour utiliser un ordinateur de bureau et des périphériques.
Horaire de travail de soirs (3:00PM à 11:00PM)
Heures supplémentaires, au besoin + couverture de fin de semaine en rotation


Taux à l’embauche

70 000 CAD avec possibilité de bonus allant jusqu’à 10%
