Professionalism, Communication and Safety:* + Initiates personnel actions such as evaluations, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions as deemed necessary. + Handles human relations issues and report those issues to the appropriate personnel. + Inspects the area to ensure the coils are properly chained and blocked, safety guards are in-place, and equipment and material handling equipment are in safe working order. + Develops new procedures to increase the levels of safety, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. Quality Control, Training and Packaging:* + Troubleshoots quality and maintenance issues. + Trains personnel to ensure the trainee meets the expectations of the company. + Inspects equipment as per the manufacturer and/or company guidelines. + Reviews work orders from the sales department to verify quantities, specifications, process capabilities, delivery schedule and availability. + Analyzes mill claim statuses and ensure said claims are filled our completely and accurately. + Communicates the expectations to the appropriate personnel and will monitor personnel to ensure they meet the expectations of both production and professionalism. Production:* + Maintains production goals as determined by demand and as laid out by the Management. + Communicates with the Operations Manager regarding the product workflow. + Evaluates the daily production schedule and report any potential hold-ups.
