Job Overview:

We are seeking a person who can quickly build on a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, equipment operation and maintenance, that is also an experienced manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a relevant field, providing the foundational knowledge and expertise necessary for success in overseeing our company's daily operations, improving training and employee retention. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with:

Strong experience in software and tools for operations management.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights; Physically able to climb up and down ladders safely; Ability to work outside in all weather conditions; Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds; In good physical condition.

Relocation to within 25 miles of our Irwin, PA office within 90 days of starting work (required)

Responsibilities:

•

This role is pivotal in driving strategic planning, resource optimization, process enhancement, and ensuring operational excellence.

•

Oversee the day-to-day operations and team, allocating resources effectively to boost productivity while minimizing costs.

•

Provide strong and effective leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cohesive collaboration.

•

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement among departmental managers and staff.

•

Coordinate training opportunities to enhance personal and team competencies, including implementing Mike Holt electrician apprentice program.

•

Set clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance and attendance issues promptly.

•

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations, thus enhancing overall efficiency.

•

Establish and enforce quality standards, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.

•

Assist in developing and managing budgets to optimize financial performance.

•

Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.

•

Collaborate with other departments to synchronize activities and ensure seamless project execution.

•

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

•

Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols and promote a robust safety culture among all team members.

•

Conduct regular safety meetings to ensure awareness and compliance with safety procedures.

•

Implement measures to identify and mitigate safety risks both within the organization and with external stakeholders.

•

Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs promptly and effectively to enhance overall satisfaction.

•

Collect and analyze critical data to inform decision-making and drive operational efficiency.

•

Responsible use of company provided fleet vehicle and adherence to all relevant policies.

•

Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.

•

Experience in sales and business development is a plus
