DEMOLITION LABORER Job Summary:
The Demolition Laborer will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of workers on the demolition site.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Assists job supervisors on-site as assigned. This may include jobs such as moving or preparing materials and using or preparing tools and machinery.
•Handles and transports materials or equipment needed for the job such as palleted grass or tools and distributes them to appropriate location as identified by the project specifications.
•Assists job supervisor as needed in preparing the layout area where demolition will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
•Prepares materials and tools as requested by job supervisor.
•Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include digging trenches; erecting scaffolding; cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash.
•Operates a wide variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery.
•Posts warning signs or cones to direct traffic near, in, or around work zones.
•Motions equipment operator as needed to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
•Cleans jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored.
•Reports issues with equipment or unsafe work conditions.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•Familiarity with power tools and machinery required.
•Prior job experience required.
Requirements:
•Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pounds.
•Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
•Must be able to stand and walk at least eight hours per day.
•Understand and follow safety rules and regulations.
•Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
