You’ll follow the project foreman’s direction to prepare job sites, load and unload material, remove debris, help team members, and do any other tasks to ensure the customer is satisfied with our work. $16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:
•Work with your crew through all stages of the project to make sure that the job is done efficiently
•Clear away any trash, debris, or hazardous materials to prep the site before construction begins
•Be available to help onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment workers as needed, to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing, and any other aspect of the project
•Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured
•Unload and stack all building materials and tools needed for a project so that everything is accessible and easy to find for the project
•Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage
•Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment
•Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines
•Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
•Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner
•Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of materials and debris
Qualifications:
•Preference to candidates with experience using construction equipment such as forklift and power tools
•We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
•Experience with construction builds is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates
•Must have excellent hand-eye coordination, good balance, and have the physical strength to be able to do the work
•Needs to be good at following directions and complete tasks, both independently and on a team
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
•Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
•Experience operating construction equipment and machinery is preferred
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
