About This Job

Aaron Machine Shop Ltd. is seeking a driver to join our company. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving lead, this position requires work from Monday to Friday, with overtime necessary on occasion. You will be responsible for company pickups and deliveries in the Calgary area.

Duties and Responsibilities

•

Safely drive and operate shop truck at all times.

•

Navigate a variety of delivery routes throughout the city.

•

Pickups at a variety of suppliers

•

Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.

•

Load and unload packages and metal products to be picked up and delivered.

•

Lift packages up to 50 lbs.

•

Use of forklift and overhead crane.

•

Cover Receiver duties when required.

Basic Requirements:

•

Eligible to work in Canada

•

Able to provide driver's abstract for past 5 years.

•

Hold a valid class 5 or better driver's license with a clean drivers abstract

•

Experience with a flat deck truck

•

Experience securing heavy and awkward loads.

•

Forklift and crane operation experience .

•

Ability to read, write and understand English Fluently

•

Customer Service skills
