Stampede is looking for well qualified Motorhands to join our team. We have spots available for rigs in both camp and non-camp locations. We thank everyone for their interest, however only those best suited will be contacted for an interview.
Position Summary:
The primary duties of the Motorhand are to ensure that all equipment is operating and functioning properly. Additionally, Motorhands are required to complete minor repairs on equipment as directed.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
•Ensure that all equipment is kept clean;
•Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment;
•Ensure that all log sheets and maintenance records are filled out correctly and are up to date on required equipment;
•Inspect main engines for proper working order;
•Inspect air compressors and compressed air system for proper working order.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
•Work with the Floorhand on the drill floor when making a trip;
•Assist Derrickhand with working on pumps;
•Assist in drill line slip-and-cut program;
•Assist in moving the rig and camp, rigging up and rigging out;
•Learn and be knowledgeable of and adhere to the Company’s Safety Policies, as outlined in the HSE Manual;
•Participate in weekly safety meetings, rig inspections, and Hazard I.D. Program;
•All other duties as instructed by Driller or Rig Manager.
Qualifications and Abilities:
•Must hold all regulatory training and safety certificates as required;
•Strong mechanical aptitude;
•The ability to work in a team setting;
•The ability to work in a fast passed physically demanding environment;
•Must be able to complete and successfully pass a Pre-Employment Physical;
•Must be able to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Substance Abuse Test.
