Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

Lundin Mining is a diversified Canadian base metals mining company with operations and projects in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Sweden and the United States of America, primarily producing copper, zinc, gold, and nickel.

Role Summary

The Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for organizing all mechanical planned and unplanned repairs to all mining equipment. This position will supervise both the underground and surface shop and will require frequent visits to each site per shift.

Main Responsibilities | Activities

- Ensure all employees are following all company policies and procedures.

- Provide leadership and guidance for the mobile maintenance team.

- Conduct daily toolbox meetings.

- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor routine maintenance of all mobile mining equipment.

- Identify and balance resource demands for work group and approve timecards.

- Communicate performance expectations to crew members and address any performance issues that can be improved.

- Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure equipment leaves shop ready for production.

- Perform routine shop inspections.

- Other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications And Experience

- College diploma or Trades Certification with 5 to 10 years of experience in a maintenance related field.

- 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite and SAP

- Ability to work within a team environment with demonstrated leadership qualities.

- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Report all incidents; including but not limited to injuries, near miss, community interactions and impacts, environmental impacts, spills, unsafe work practices, etc.
