POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mobile Device Administrator provides support, maintenance, and lifecycle management for all corporate mobile devices, including: smart phones, tablets, and handheld devices for delivery and service teams. The role also administers the corporate mobile device management platform. Other duties may be assigned to the Mobile Device Administrator as needed or required by business needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Responsible for configuring, administering, and providing support for the corporate enterprise mobility ecosystem.
•Design, optimize and integrate business processes across systems and mobile technologies.
•Implement, assess, and evaluate Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM/MDM) and Mobile application Management (MAM) solutions.
•Integration of mobile capabilities (High Availability, device/app VPN, Content management, Wireless Local Area Network Security, LOB/store apps, etc...)
•Provide clear ownership and resolution of incidents/faults logged against applications/systems supported to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
•Provides installation, testing and certification of approved applications on mobile devices
•Provides set-up, training, technical assistance, and support to all mobile device users.
•Acts as a consultant to ensure that organizational technology trends can be adapted for use at home
•Assesses ITS needs; makes recommendations as to which technologies will meet individual and/or department needs.
•Acts as a resource to resolve complex problems.
•Communicates as required, with third party vendors to resolve issues
•Design, create, update, test and deploy Windows Operating System images for tablets.
•Work with Information Security department to ensure all devices on the DRC network are secure and patched in a timely manner.
EDUCATION:
A high school diploma is required. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desired. CompTIA Mobility+ and CompTIA A+ certification a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
•3 years of experience managing mobile devices in a multi-site corporate environment
•Two plus years of experience administering corporate mobile device management (MDM) platforms
