The work location is in Nunavik, and the normal work schedule consists of a rotating 4-week cycle, with 2 weeks of work (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of paid rest.

Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Senior Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor will be accountable for all mechanical management aspects of various vehicle fleets. Their primary responsibilities will include:
•Managing a team of mechanics.
•Identifying work required for the mobile equipment fleet.
•Ensuring the quality of work executed by the team.
•Organizing and overseeing the department to effectively address diverse demands.
•Collaborating with planners for work preparation and parts orders.
•Minimizing downtime for production equipment.
•Conducting performance evaluations and participating in departmental hiring.
•Adhering to health and safety requirements and guidelines.
•Undertaking any other related tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
•Possession of a Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in a relevant discipline.
•5 to 10 years of experience in supervision and planning.
•Possession of Mining Modules FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 (an asset).
•Enhanced knowledge of various mining and underground mining equipment (an asset).
•Understanding of effective personnel supervision practices.
•Proficient in MS Office suite.
•Familiarity with SIS and CMMS systems.
•Valid driver's license and general explosive permit.
•Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and enhance our internal communications.
