Mill Operations Laborer

POSITION OVERVIEW

Entry level position works with hand tools and small equipment to maintain the mill and surrounding area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Work safely around moving equipment while using required safety equipment.

- Use of hand shovel.

- Use of general hand tools.

- Assist in all clean up throughout property as required.

- Use of small front end loader for cleanup when needed.

- Various duties as assigned.

- Trained on forklifts

- Other duties assigned

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Must be able to work in areas that are loud, dusty, wet and cramped.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Must be able to work rotating shifts (nights and days).

- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructional and procedural manuals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Current, valid driver's license.
