Metallurgist

Crossroads Seamless USA is seeking a Metallurgist to join their team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring material quality and performance across a range of steel products. Ideal for someone with a technical background in metallurgy who enjoys solving production challenges, leading process improvements, and interfacing with both vendors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze mechanical and chemical properties of metal products to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

· Act as the quality liaison between vendors, internal teams and customers.

· Conduct vendor audits and participate in technical meetings to drive service and product improvement.

· Investigate metallurgical issues affecting production and provide technical recommendations.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain SOP documentation.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science or related field.

· Minimum 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience involving metals/alloys.

· Familiarity with quality standards, material testing and industry regulations.

· Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, processes and techniques.

· Problem-solving and process organization strategies.

· Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MATLAB and CAD software.
