Job Description

The Metallurgical (Met) Technician reports to the Senior Metallurgist. This hands-on position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lab equipment, instruments, testing, and systems. The Met Technician will perform a wide variety of job functions in multiple areas within the Met lab and process plant and offsite laboratory.

Knowledge:

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required. + Knowledge of lab procedures, equipment and instrumentation is beneficial. + Knowledge of industrial treatment processes is beneficial. + Knowledge of chemistry or other sciences is beneficial.
