A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:

- Design Layouts

- Perform design analysis for truck and trailer equipment

- Implement product improvements in an evolving industry

- Evaluate and implement design changes

- Projects are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations

- Dedication to research and development of products

- Designs meet Westmor Industries engineering standards

- Design analyses, drawings, and bills of materials are accurate

- Other duties as assigned

Compensation

- The starting pay range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Training and/or experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks/Inventor, and Ansys or similar software packages
