Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development
•Support the Engineering Manager in developing designs for new spiral mill machinery and components.
•Perform feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and cost-performance evaluations.
CAD Modeling & Documentation
•Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
•Maintain documentation, design standards, and revision history using PDM tools.
Prototyping & Testing
•Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to build and test prototypes.
•Analyze test data and recommend design improvements for performance and reliability.
Engineering Analysis & Troubleshooting
•Conduct stress, thermal, and vibration analysis to validate designs.
•Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production, installation, or field operation.
Continuous Improvement
•Identify opportunities to improve existing designs, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability.
•Implement approved design and process improvements in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
Collaboration & Communication
•Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
•Provide regular project updates and communicate risks and findings to stakeholders.
Compliance & Safety
•Ensure all designs meet applicable standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and internal quality protocols.
•Follow safety procedures and documentation requirements throughout the design cycle.
Qualification

Education & Experien
•ceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fiel
•d.2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machiner
