Mechanical Design Engineer- Spiral Mill Machine

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development
•
Support the Engineering Manager in developing designs for new spiral mill machinery and components.
•
Perform feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and cost-performance evaluations.
CAD Modeling & Documentation
•
Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
•
Maintain documentation, design standards, and revision history using PDM tools.
Prototyping & Testing
•
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to build and test prototypes.
•
Analyze test data and recommend design improvements for performance and reliability.
Engineering Analysis & Troubleshooting
•
Conduct stress, thermal, and vibration analysis to validate designs.
•
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production, installation, or field operation.
Continuous Improvement
•
Identify opportunities to improve existing designs, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability.
•
Implement approved design and process improvements in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
Collaboration & Communication
•
Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
•
Provide regular project updates and communicate risks and findings to stakeholders.
Compliance & Safety
•
Ensure all designs meet applicable standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and internal quality protocols.
•
Follow safety procedures and documentation requirements throughout the design cycle.
Qualification

Education & Experien
•
ceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fiel
•
d.2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machiner
y.Technical Skil
•
lsProficient in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor

).Experience with PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault
•
).Familiarity with engineering simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS

).Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining, and assembl
