Milling Machine Operator

Must have experience in Roadtec 600 asphalt Mill or equivalent asphalt removal mill

Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate 18 wheeler towing Asphalt Mill. - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of materials. Transport and unload the machines and operate the machine at a high level for your asphalt crew removing old asphalt from roads.

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including basic automotive repairs and manual transmission operation. - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating commercial vehicles. - Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods. - Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. - Comply with company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols. Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. - Ability to load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques. - Knowledge of basic automotive repairs and maintenance procedures. - Proficiency in operating vehicles with manual transmissions. - Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and traffic laws. - Excellent time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules. - Ability to navigate routes using GPS or other navigation tools. - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
