Located in Calvert, 35 miles north of Mobile, Alabama, our state-of-the-art steel processing facility has the capacity to process 5.3 million tons of high-value steel grades in the North America market. The Maintenance Planner is accountable for development of comprehensive work packages, supporting excellence in execution of the right work at the right time, by multi-discipline trades, including internal and external department resources for a broad cross-section of equipment.

Planners are recognized for their expertise in applying planning process ‘best practices’ and should be capable of planning work for multi-disciplinary trades against a broad cross-section of equipment. The focus is on job planning, not craft planning. Planners typically require equipment knowledge breadth and capability to interact and plan for multi-discipline trades. A ‘craft’ background (certificate of qualification) is beneficial.
