Mill Engineering Manager

Plan, direct and coordinate mill processing activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects. Monitor performance results to plan and recommend course correction.

Evaluate and update standard operating procedures, work instructions, and JSA and QMS documents.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to resolve operational challenges. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for machinery and infrastructure.

Direct, review, and approve projects. Optimize the lifespan of consumables and implement cost reduction strategies. Organize and promote short, medium, and long-term projects to enhance productivity.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed project reports and present progress updates to senior management.

Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts; introduce new technology; and develop manuals and training materials.

Ensure engineering processes meet quality standards and production requirements.

Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
